Learn the basic stitches and techniques to construct textile objects by hand. We will first go over needle and thread options, how to choose the correct tools and materials for the fabric, and how to properly prepare the thread. Then we will practice each stitch and finally create a sample book to be used in the future as a stitch reference.

Stitches and Techniques: Running Stitch, Backstitch, Rolled hems, Felling, Buttonholes.
