Join us for a weekend of figuring out how to use up all of the leftover yarns that you have had stashed away in bins and on shelves for years.
We will start the weekend with a show and tell of many of the samples in the Weaver's Croft collection - both historic and contemporary - to inspire future projects. We will discuss how to put together different colors, come up with appropriate setts, sample the proposed project and even do some over dyeing in an indigo vat if weather permits.
Any and all questions about weave structures, yarn choices, etc. will be welcome.
Bring all your stashed yarns to create your samples!
This 1 1/2 day workshop will take place on Saturday morning & afternoon and Sunday morning.
Lodging is available in the Lone Rock Farm farmhouse and students may cook and eat meals together there.
